Prykladna Mekhanika considers original manuscripts that fit the journal scope and are not simultaneously under consideration by another journal.
Language and files. The manuscript is submitted in Ukrainian as an editable Microsoft Word (.docx) file. Full production formatting is not required at initial submission, but the text, equations, figures and tables must be sufficiently clear for scientific peer review.
Metadata. OJS must include the title, abstract and 4–6 keywords in both Ukrainian and English, together with complete contributor information: name, affiliation, city, country, corresponding-author contact details and ORCID. English is used for bibliographic metadata; submission of an English-language manuscript to this journal is not currently enabled.
Scientific presentation. Equations should remain editable and notation and units should be consistent. Figures and tables must have meaningful captions and be suitable for scientific assessment. References are presented in one numbered list in order of first citation; DOI identifiers should be included where available.
Declarations. Authors provide statements on author contributions, funding, competing interests, data/code availability, ethics approval/informed consent where applicable, permissions for third-party material, and substantive use of generative or other digital tools. AI systems and software tools cannot be listed as authors.
For a revision, authors submit a revised manuscript and a separate point-by-point response to reviewer/editor comments, explaining the changes made or giving a reasoned response where a suggestion was not followed.
Submission Preparation Checklist
Before completing the submission, the author confirms that:
the manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not under simultaneous consideration by another journal;
the main file is in Ukrainian, supplied as an editable .docx file, and is suitable for scientific peer review;
Ukrainian and English title, abstract and 4–6 keywords, together with complete author and affiliation data, have been entered in OJS;
all authors have agreed to the authorship list/order and the required contribution, funding, competing-interest, data/code, ethics and digital-tool declarations have been provided;
references have been checked and figures, tables and equations are numbered and supplied in a form suitable for assessment;
all required permissions for third-party material have been obtained.
