Aims and Scope
Prykladna Mekhanika publishes original research and review articles on fundamental and applied problems in mechanics.
The scientific scope includes, in particular:
- solid mechanics, materials and structures; elasticity, plasticity, viscoelasticity and creep;
- composite, heterogeneous and functionally graded materials, including contact mechanics;
- plates, shells and thin-walled structures;
- fracture, damage and fatigue mechanics;
- stability, vibrations, nonlinear dynamics, wave propagation and theoretical mechanics;
- thermomechanical, electromechanical and other coupled-field problems, including fluid–structure interaction;
- analytical, asymptotic, numerical and experimental methods in mechanics.
This list is not exhaustive. Work in adjacent fields may be considered when its principal scientific contribution is in mechanics and fits the journal profile.
